Ray Prim: Ray Prim is a Singer Soulwriter based in Austin, Texas. His music takes you back to the days when songs were inspiring, meaningful and thought provoking. His tunes are melody-based short stories that anyone can related to and identify with. It only takes one of his many songs to be instantly hooked. Five words sums it up – Ear Candy for the Soul..

“the artist Prim has most reminded me of since I first saw him and his group a year ago is Alejandro Escovedo, the longtime Austin performer who moved to Dallas last year. That’s not to say their music is anything alike, really: Prim is his own artist, in the same way indie-rock great Spoon is different than 1980s local alt-rockers the Reivers who preceded them, and Gary Clark Jr. is more than simplywww.rayprim.com a modern blues-rock version of Stevie Ray Vaughan.” – Peter Blackstock, Austin 360 (Sep 17, 2017) www.rayprim.com

American Dreamer: American Dreamer is an orchestral folk ensemble from Austin, TX. While stepped in both folk and classical music, we strive to create a sound that is not precisely either; in hopes of exploring the space in between them. American Dreamer’s music offers layered harmonies, stirring textures, and rich counterpoint.

““Open Your Eyes” is an orchestral folk gem that begs you to do just that; the song starts slow and washes you over with waves of strings and acoustic guitar that are will make you swoon. The vocals are breathy and delicate as the instrumentation, soft and welcoming as the track starts to warm up. All in all, it’s a gorgeous number and I’m going to be getting lost in it for the rest of the day at the very least.” Nicole Baumann – Austin Town Hall www.americandreamermusic.com
