The Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) will host its inaugural National Millennial Summit, Thursday October 12th through Sunday, October 15th at the Dallas Convention Center in downtown Dallas, Texas. Our country has faced some adversity and setbacks within the last few years that has led to a very divided nation. These challenges are critical to a conversation, a plan of action, and a new agenda of civil rights for all people. Our summit theme is "Enough is Enough: Leadership Can't Wait." Invited guests include: Senator Bernie Sanders, Martin Luther King III, Dr. Bernice King, Ava Duvernay, and Senator Elizabeth Warren. This year, we will focus on the progression and regression of civil rights in America, and how to transform lives from hopelessness to hopefulness. New Course: Immediate Full Arch Implant Reconstruction-Live SurgeryFriday and Saturday December 1-2, 2017 Course Description: Live patient full arch treatment  will be demonstrated by our surgical team leader as will have an opportunity to learn the diagnostic steps and technical steps required in the full arch implant reconstruction case.Each participant will have the opportunity to learn the diagnostic, treatment planning, surgical, and prosthetic aspects of this unique technique. Lecture, laboratory and viewing the live surgical protocol in real time will enable attendees to ask questions as the procedure progresses.  Course participants will be able to efficiently implement the full arch immediate implant reconstruction treatment concept into their practices to benefit the growing population of patients requiring this therapy. Course Presenters: Farhad E. Boltchi, D.M.D., M.S. Dr. Boltchi received his dental degree from the Medical University of Hannover in Germany and a Certificate in Periodontics associated with a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Boltchi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Graduate Periodontics Program at Texas A & M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, a faculty member of SPEAR/CerecDoctors.com, and also maintains a full-time private practice in Periodontics and Dental implants in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. He teaches and lectures extensively both nationally and internationally on the topics of advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants with a special emphasis on Esthetic Implant Dentistry, Periodontal Plastic Surgical Procedures, and digital implant dentistry and is also actively involved with clinical research projects in these topics. Dr. Boltchi has achieved Board Certification status with the American Board of Periodontology and is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Amirali Zandinejad DDS, MSc Assistant ProfessorDirector, Advanced Education General Dentistry Program, Texas A&M University, Texas A & M College of Dentistry Dr.Zandinejad completed his dental training in 1996. He also completed a residency program in operative dentistry and received his Master degree in restorative dentistry from Sheffield University in the United Kingdom.He completed his AEGD residency and prosthodontic program at the Universityof Rochester in NY. Did you know that September 22 is Hobbit Day?  It’s the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins!  We are celebrating with our second annual Hobbit Day 5K! September is also Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, so  we will be donating at least 15% of every registraton to Be The Match, “for the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 25 years Be The Match ® , operated by the National Marrow Donor Program ®  (NMDP), has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplant.” What: This is a 5K virtual run (or walk) to honor hobbits! When: Complete your race any time in September.  If you can complete it on Hobbit Day, September 22nd, even better!  *Medals and bibs will start shipping out mid-August. Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
