Premier Wine Auction!
Event on 2018-04-21 18:30:00
The Côtes du Coeur event series is a premiere fundraising campaign hosted annually in Dallas, Texas to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA). Sponsored by the Dallas Division of the AHA, the event series leads up to an annual fine wine auction and celebrity chef dinner. This culminating black-tie gala event is the largest of its kind, making it the number one fundraising gala in the nation for the American Heart Association. Proceeds from Côtes du Coeur go directly to the AHA for cardiovascular research and heart health educational programs both locally and nationwide. During its 26-year history, Côtes du Coeur has attracted more than 23,000 attendees and has raised more than million.

Côtes du Coeur hosts approximately 1,200 business and wine industry leaders, community philanthropists, wine collectors and physicians. Led by renowned Dallas Chef Richard Chamberlain, a team of 18 acclaimed chefs invite the guests to enjoy selections from a boldly unique tasting menu accompanied by wine pairings created from the cellars of 32 elite wineries. Attendees experience multi-course fine dining designed to showcase specific wine varietals dish-by-dish. The quality of the food and wine is a key differentiator for Côtes du Coeur. The gala also features a live auction of one-of-a-kind experience-packages and a silent auction of more than 2,000 wines—the largest fine wine auction in the Southwest.

A key focus of the Côtes du Coeur season is the cultivation of quality networking during the planning sessions, pre-parties and gala. These events offer multiple opportunities for patrons to engage in deep and meaningful business and personal relationships with senior level executives from the Dallas area.

Foreclosure Angel: Stranger Buys Foreclosed House at Auction and Gave it back to Owner!

Foreclosure Angel A woman buys a stranger’s foreclosed home… and gives it back to her. If you want to know more about this angel contact her on facebook and send her a message here: www.facebook.com Marilyn Mock Says ‘People Need to Help Each Other’ By JONANN BRADY Tracy Pottsboro lost her job and then her home when she couldn’t make mortgage payments. On Saturday, she watched as her home was auctioned off in Dallas. “The final farewell to my house,” Pottsboro said. “It means so much to all of us. It’s not just a house.” Auctions on foreclosed houses are an opportunity for some and agony for those who’ve lost their homes. From July through September of this year, more than 2700 Americans lost their homes to foreclosure every day, according to The Associated Press. In Texas, almost 9200 homes entered the foreclosure process in September. On Saturday, Pottsboro took her seat among the crowd, waiting for house No. 73 to be called. Marilyn Mock, a small-business owner from Rockwall, Texas, had accompanied her son, who was interested in buying a house, to the auction that day. Mock was sitting near Pottsboro and noticed that she was upset. “She was crying, and I asked her what is she upset about, and you know, she lost her house,” Mock said. When the No. 73 came up and the auction began, Mock said she asked Pottsboro, “Is it worth it?” “She said yes. & I just kept taking her word,” Mock said. Mock ended up winning the auction, with a bid of about 000. And just like that

Q&A: What are good items for silent auction?

Question by Steph: What are good items for silent auction?
I am in charge of a dog event for North Dallas Dog Rescue. And instead of just asking for donations I thought a silent auction would be fun and we could give full tax write offs for the people who donate items. But I can’t think of anything good that I could ask from venders to donate.

I need cute holiday ideas. I need ideas for men, women, and children.

Best answer:

Answer by Michael L
If you’re asking vendors to donate items you don’t have to think of things, they do. Most vendors will give gift certificates. Restaurants will give dinner for 2, dinner for 4. Service companies can give gift certs for $$$ off their services. off of carpet cleaning, off of dry cleaning. Free oil change..

etc etc etc
