How much money can I make as a server at Longhorn’s on the lunch shift? Dinner shift?

Question by Stephanie A: How much money can I make as a server at Longhorn’s on the lunch shift? Dinner shift?

Best answer:

Answer by Lynnae
You will never make as much at lunch as you can at dinner. If you worked doubles (both meals) you make a lot more, but it’s a lot of hours.

Dinner should be around 150-200 or more a night if it’s in a good busy location and you’re an experienced server. You will become good within a matter of months if you are new. It’s all about your timing and attitude – always smile and don’t take anything personally. You have to be everyone’s “friend” – the customers’, the hostesses, the management’s, bartenders’ and cooks’. It’s a lot. I wish you well – it’s fast money if you’re good and you like the work.

What are good restaurants in Phoenix to go to lunch and supper?

Question by Kristen H: What are good restaurants in Phoenix to go to lunch and supper?
This is mainly for research purposes for my new novel. I’ve been in Phoenix in 1/05. No fast food restaurants. But good restaurants to serve great food in the Phoenix Metro area inc. Sedona, that might include lobster. Excellent opinions from tourists and Arizona residents will be great.

Ed Debevicks – It’s a retro 50’s restaurant where the servers are paid to be rude! It’s a LOT of fun!

Also, try Frank and Lupe’s Old Mexico in Scottsdale. They have a restaurant here in New Mexico, and I love it. Try the sopapillas – not many people in Arizona even know what that is, but it’s good!
