Question by April: How should i get started in tv broadcasting when I majored in something different??
I graduated college last year. I am now working in a job that I HATE. My dream has always to do tv broadcasting ( but of course I majored in something else). I want to have a job that I love, and I know this is what I’m supposed to be doing. I have looked into a couple of internships around local stations to get my foot in the door. Any other suggestions from anyone?

Answer by Shars Where do you live? Can you relocate? It’s unusual for companies to take on interns who have already graduated from college. Can you take some tv-related courses at a local school and then apply for entry/low-level jobs in your field of interest?
What do you actually want to do? On-air talent (e.g. weather, newsreader, etc.)? Or production, behind-the-scenes? Or the business side of television, or advertising sales, or … ?
You could post “situation wanted” classified ads on website that are devoted to the television business. Maybe something will turn up from that.
Network and ask friends and friends of friends until you find some people who are in the field that you can speak with for “informational interviews.” Learn about their career paths, how they got where they area. If you impress them, maybe they’ll refer you to someone else, or even refer you to human resources at their company for a job.
Question by Tiago Berigan: How should I deal with an “illegal use of radio” ticket?
I just got off a highway and was playing very loud music. I passed two motorcycle police they were quite far from me. At this point I turned my system off. I drive about 50 feet, and one pulls out and follows me… after about 5 minutes he pulls me over for illegal use of radio (my system had been off for quite some time).
I’m wondering:
Should I dispute this ticket?
Can disputing the ticket cost more?
If I do dispute the ticket how do I dispute it?
I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin… if they makes any difference

Answer by Mykael there is a noise limit after 11pm so if it was past that time then you screwed, but if it was during the day then you were well within your rights and can play music as load as you want

When it comes to spells you should use a rotation of your main attacks everytime they come off cooldown (Judgement/Seal of Command, Crusader Strike, Divine Storm, Consecration, Exorcism, and Holy Wrath). Keep it up as long as you have mana. You can use Judge of Wisdom / CS / DS if your mana gets low. In PvP make sure to use your stuns when all your abilities are off cool down so you can do a lot of burst damage.
When it comes to stats the most important are obviously strength and stamina critical strike rating/agility and hit rating are important too. After that go for things like armor penetration and expertise.

I just found out today that my teenage daughter has a Myspace. I’ve told her on numerous occasions that she isn’t old enough or matcher enough to have one. Well today she used my phone she says “to check something online” Her phone doesn’t have online services, so I let her. She must have forgot to log out because when I got on it was her yahoo account stating she had a new comment on myspace. So when I got home I put in her yahoo address and the password she uses for everything and logged into “HER” myspace page. Now the picture posted isn’t her, but I recognize A LOT of her friends, there is even an messages in her inbox that wants to know why she wasn’t in school on Thursday, which she wasn’t because she had a dr’s appt. Anyway, how do I bring it up to her and what kind of punishment should she have. She already lost her phone, TV, radio, and computer privileges due to her skipping school and her grades.
Also, she has no idea that I know she has one yet. She’s 14.

Answer by Been There~Done That! Confront her and take away things she thinks she could not possibly live without and she does not get them back in a week or so. She has to earn them back by getting your trust back.
I bet she has a lot even without a MySpace like everyone else that she considers a luxury item. Snatch them up and lock them up.
