Q&A: Where should I go to university? Looking for raiders, longhorns, or sooners.?

Question by Lindz: Where should I go to university? Looking for raiders, longhorns, or sooners.?
I’m apply to Texas Tech, University of Texas at Austin, and University of Oklahoma? Anybody from there can tell me what they’re really like?

Answer by BlueJuliet
I went to UT, my Dad taught at UT, and my daughter now goes to UT. I’ve lived in Austin for 40 years, and it’s an awesome place! UT is really big, though, so you have to be prepared for a somewhat impersonal experience with the administration and some auditorium classes. There are many small groups to put a personal face on university, though, which is helpful for a new student. Great campus, fantastic city, cool atmosphere where anyone is welcome.
Come to Austin!
